The Top Looks On Campus This Semester
Last week was my first week back on campus and aside from reading the syllabus from all my classes, figuring out where my classes are on campus, and catching up with friends. I was excited to see what new looks I would see on campus from other fellow students. Personally, to promote productivity I like to put effort into all of my outfits when I’m on campus even if I have only one class on that particular day. I still like to dress comfortably on occasion though, but I believe that by actively putting effort into my outfits, I feel like I am setting myself up for success in and outside the classroom. I believe you should always try to look your best no matter the occasion because when you look good, you also feel good. I like to pick my outfit out the night before along with my jewelry. I also like to apply a light amount of makeup to enhance my look as well. This overall boosts my day and makes me more excited for the day ahead. This week on campus I saw a variety of different looks that I absolutely loved. I also saw students wearing a variety of colors and prints. Which I think is perfect for the new semester and the new year. I am excited to incorporate these looks into my own wardrobe as well this semester. In this article, I will discuss and show examples of the looks I have seen on campus.
The first look I have been seeing on campus is matching athleisure sets. This trend of athleisure sets has become more popular in recent years with more and more companies producing them. Popular brands such as Lululemon, Old Navy, Fabletics, and Pretty Little Thing are some of the popular brands that consumers purchase their sets from. Personally, I love a good matching set. Matching sets make my outfit feel complete. This is definitely a good boost of confidence in college especially when life starts to get hectic. I personally love a good matching set with shorts but there are a variety of different options. I’ve seen many students on campus where matching sets with leggings or with matching jackets as well. The options are truly limitless. I have also seen students pair this look with fitted baseball caps or claw clips in their hair as well. For shoes, I saw students wear platform converses, crocs, and air maxes.
Here are some links to my favorite matching sets and other accessories that I think are perfect for the semester!

The next look, I have been seeing on campus is shapewear/loungewear. This is another trend that has become rather popular, especially with the popularity of SKIMS emerging in recent years. SKIMS is a shapewear and loungewear company that was founded by Kim Kardashian. I have observed that many students love incorporating this shapewear/loungewear look into their everyday looks for class. I personally love this look; it gives the same vibe with matching sets. It makes everyday outfits look cleaner and more put together. The shapewear/loungewear from SKIMS comes in bodysuits, shorts, leggings, dresses, and a variety of different styles of shirts. I have seen students pair the shapewear/loungewear with baggy jeans, leggings, and shorts.

The final look that I have seen on campus is a more casual look, but it is still really cute. I have seen many students wear sweatshirts and leggings or sweatshirts and baggy jeans. This look can be dressed up or dressed down. It is a more everyday look that I see students wear. I personally wear this look at least 2 to three times a week. It is just more comfortable and sometimes that is all I really need especially when it is cold outside. I love seeing the way different students style this look because even though it is simple, it is still really cute.
These were just a few of the looks I have seen this semester so far. As the semester progresses I am sure that there will be even more looks to pull inspiration from. So I am very excited about that. I hope this article has inspired you to try something new with your outfits for this semester!
