Lately, I have been trying to learn more about myself and
figure out what I need to do in order to achieve all of my goals.
I have reached the conclusion that I need to reset myself at times when
life becomes chaotic. I do this by resetting on Sundays through cleaning and self-care
and today I will be sharing the ways that it has personally helped me in the hope that it will help you too.
Refocusing yourself is one of the most rewarding things you can do. In today’s article, I will be discussing one of the ways I personally refocus and ground my energy to guide myself through the following week.
First, I know that it's time for a reset when my room is not up to par. Your room is your space so it will reflect how you are feeling and it will affect all your future feelings as well. I begin my reset by doing a deep clean of my room. This includes: washing all of my clothes, vacuuming my floors, reorganizing my drawers, and cleaning my bathroom. I also may light a candle to set the vibe and keep me motivated to continue. Next, I do my self-care routine, and I usually take a long shower, do a face mask, or indulge in another type of skincare that includes serums or creams.
Finally, I choose to do my resets on Sundays because it sets the tone for my week but you can do yours anytime you deem necessary. The most important thing to remember is that these resets are for you and should be catered to you and your needs.
